Every neighborhood on WYLT is evaluated across four core dimensions: safety (violent and property crime risk), schools (rated out of 10), walkability (Walk Score out of 100), and home prices relative to state and national averages. Our scoring model assigns one of four plain-English verdicts — “Settle here,” “Good for now,” “Think twice,” or “Hard pass” — so you get a clear bottom line without decoding letter grades or vague indexes.
Unlike sites that rank cities by population or economic output, WYLT focuses on what actually matters to people choosing where to live: Is it safe? Are the schools good? Can I walk to things? Can I afford it? Rankings are updated continuously as new neighborhood reports are added. All data is sourced from public records, national databases, and AI-assisted analysis.
